Credit cards are a relatively new facility that banks provide to their customers under certain conditions. With this card, the holder can purchase goods or receive services and then repay the used credit at certain times (along with fees and other costs). Unlike a debit card, where the amount is withdrawn from the buyer's bank account and deposited into the seller's account, with credit cards, it is the bank or financial institution that pays the money to the cardholder (i. e, seller of goods and services). There have been some opinions about the legal nature of credit cards, However, the authors of this study, with a descriptive-analytical approach, emphasize the issue of the reward of debt payment. Among the advantages of this legal act is that to regulate the contractual relationship between the card issuer and its holder, there is no need for multiple contracts such as power of attorney, sale and transfer, or Article 10 of the Civil Code. Also, in this legal structure, unlike a guarantee or transfer contract, the holder's debt is not transferred to the issuer, but the issuer will only be obligated to pay.
